Friday Night in Brixton at Snip's
Ok, so I just heard about the importance of this blogging thing...(not sure if if blogging is one or two g's!?)
I thought that it was some nerd shit, but apparently its really cool and trendy and essential to be a successful artist,
as this is key to my own self worth and identity I decided to get in involved...
So Friday night at Snip's..I lost my 4th virginity (I'll leave u to work out 1st 2nd and 3rd).
I wrote a REAL blog (which wasn't on my myspace page..)
Chilling with Snip's and Inka in Brixton, we were gunna go Rhumba, but decided to go Morley's Chicken shop instead!?
There is a chicken shop right outside snips' house, but apparently this one was worth the 20min walk..it wasn't!
(maybe it would have been if we had taken a trendy photo for the blog!? Especially if it was of my logoless empty chicken
wrapper, but no picture...
Came back, ate the food, drunk two stella, felt sick, Snip's feel asleep..the life of a busy international Drum & Bass Dj are truly over..'Those days are Gone!!'
Which brings me to the next subject, tomo me and Schnizzle are finishing our new 'genre boundry pushing' House track of the same title..
A Hip Hop producer making a house track with a Drum and Bass producer..
I wanted to do a Minimal Techno track with Dub bass, he wanted to make a house track with 'soul'..suprisingly on some Armen Van Gaylen shit!???
So we made some dubby tech electro ting..
I think it sounds a bit happy and chessey, but apparently its dark!>???
Oh when am I gunna let my anger go...???
Properly Never....
Its a hard creating new genres but someone's gotta do it..
So there u have it.. Hip Hop + DNB = Dub Tech (I bet that already exists!?
Yo....just thought u reading this is like having u watching me lose my sexual virginity on camera..
Na not really the same is it...
Hmm m
Maybe I should stop blogging

DJ Doo Wop's Response To Lil Wayne (Youtube)
A few days ago, Mr. Dwayne Carter made some comments in an interview regarding mixtape DJs. Mixtape legend Doo Wop responded with this video montage. The 'Gremlins' section is pretty funny.
I mean, dude's talented and all, but it's got to the point where Weezy is feeling himself way too much. And to say 'fuck you' to the mixtape DJs who promote his shit? That's not cool man. If people are eating off the free stuff he puts out online, maybe he shouldn't leak a million and one tracks a week.
Via Nah Right.
P.S. 'Go DJ' is still an anthem though!

Eurovision: Wogan, the dustman and a lil Chiki Chiki
So back to Eurovision. Firstly I wanna send big ups to Wogan for repping Britain for the last 138 years - you will be missed by all of us at Krak Muzik.
Secondly commiserations to Andy the dustman, who has now been a loser TWICE on national TV, shame really coz he's actually kinda good.
And finally here's who should have won, props to the Spics, this is BAD - chiki chiki check dis!

I aint heard of that...
Okay so I was driving home last night and I heard Jay-Z and Timbaland's latest joint "Aint I" for the first time. Yea yea you already heard it time ago, and I'm standardly late... Anyway, it jogged me into thinking about an old-ish Jay-Z and Slim Thug track, produced by The Neptunes in 2005. The simple reason for the reminder? Timbo's beat sounds like a complete rip off of it! Guess he was too busy pressing buttons for the Russian Eurovision Song contestants to actually come with anything half decent to release...ouch! At least he wasn't singing this time, I don't think.
Anyways this tune's bad, and definitely worth a revival so check it:

финал Лиги чемпионов, 21 мая 2008 года: против Челси Манчестер Юнайтед
Now, I'm not a fan of football. But I am a fan of drinking. So, like most things in life, it's swings and roundabouts. If I wanted a few pints, I had to endure the loutish behaviour of some of west London's foulest... Indeed they were foul. But, like the proverbial diamonds in the rough, there were a few specimens on display that had the ability to lighten one's soul, with their mere presence.
Observe, if you will...
Fabio Capello, drinking a pint of stout and wearing nothing but a Chelsea Jersey and a wholesome grin. He brought me much entertainment last night, so much so that when he removed his belt, for reasons known only unto him, i sprang into action: sneaking up on him and whipping his trousers down around his ankles.
Oh how you blushed, Fabio... oh how you blushed!
This natty gentleman informed me that he had a £50 bet on United to win on penalties, he stood to win in excess of £5000. A truly beautiful human being, he had no qualms about dancing around a pub full of Chelsea Headhunters, cheering on their opposition. With a smile wider than a split melon, he promised to buy me a pint tonight, so I'm off to claim it shortly.
This is Den. I've known him since i was a young boy, a very noble and kindly chap. His wife is ill at the moment and it's been tough on him, caring for her. So much so that he now has a carer to care for him while he cares for his wife. That's a lot of caring, but he's a caring fellow. He didn't, however, seem to care that the pub was full of degenerates, he took it in his stride and told them to "pipe down" when required to.
I don't quite know what to make of this chap. He stood outside the pub for the duration of the match, smoking cigarettes. He didn't set foot inside once, just silently gazed through the doorway.
90 minutes in a shell suit jacket, in close proximity to a source of ignition? Reckless abandon!

Pornography... the final taboo
Now, the way things are going in the adult entertainment industry, there isn't much to see that hasn't already raised a stir in ones loins. I think you'll agree, its getting a bit stale. What is the logical progression? They are swiftly running out of ways to titillate, tantalise and, quite frankly, shock our brains into channeling the claret down towards the phallic chums in our pants. It's clearly time to explore a new avenue of sexual deviance.
Ladies and Gentleman, i present to you...
Ear Fucking
It's all in the name really, no elaboration required
Championed, it seems, by Chorley FM.
They do a phone in, if you ring up and tell them how you like it (i hear waxy is popular), they'll send you a Roberts D.A.B digital radio.

Free Chocolate Cake...
So said the sign in the pub window.
Partial as I am to the occasional slice of chocolate cake, and never one to overlook the prospect of a gratis acquisition, I was immediately transfixed by the simplicity of its nature. Where can I cash in my just deserts? Who is offering these chocolaty delights?
It was only after a truly brutal spell of ponderable pensiveness that the clarity of the situation became apparent. Observe, if you will, the sight which i beheld:
And now for my quandary...
Why on earth are the vowels written the right way around, yet the consonants appear as though seen in a mirror?
Was this, in fact, written by two separate people, one in the warmth of the pub with a chinagraph pencil and the relatively easy task of assembling the vowels, while his chum is in the street, dodging the crack smoking lamb's leg thief (another story entirely), jotting up the chilly consonants?
Maybe it's a new craze sweeping the nation, a new pub game, the bastard offspring of Scrabble and Battleships?
Anyone who can provide me with the answer to ease this burden from my mind, i will give you a slice of Free Chocolate Cake.

camden: not all its krakked up to be...
Really now boys and girls, there's something fundamentally wrong with todays concept of a popular drinking culture. Its a terrible thing when you're paying well over 3 pound a pop for a pint of stout; its really not on but we tolerate it. Our fondness for going out on the ravage, smoking fags and looking hard has led us into a nasty routine of pissing our hard earned cash up the wall, regardless of the cost (fiscal, physical and mental)
Alas, theres nothing we can do about it. Or is there?
Behold, the product of an enterprising young chap who clearly thought :
"What is the ultimate protest one can bestow upon this overpriced, crack-chic endorsing hovel of a public house?"
And the answer came to him in a streak.
In fact, in 3 streaks.
3 streaks of his own shit.
Nothing says "fuck the establishment" like a trident of shit smeared down the tiles with your own rancid digits.
I attracted some attention whilest taking this photo, a couple of gentlemen asked "Are you taking photos of knobs?"
I was about to answer that i was actually taking a picture of the shitty paw print, but realised, in the nick of time, that such a statement would fail to show me in a favourable light. It really is a tough choice; would one prefer to be seen as a scat loving chancer, or a photo-oppurtunistic cottager?
Ah, the timeless dilema.
Easily resolved though, I told them to pull their necks in and mind their own business, and left with my dignity intact, floating on an enigmatic cloud of mystery.

Pendulum - the new prodigy?
Spawned out of the land of drum n bass in 2003, the Oz trio hailing from Perth, have landed the number 2 spot in the album charts this week.
Donned as "the new Prodigy", I checked out their myspace page to see how far "In silico" had progressed from the dance collectives' 165 bpm roots. A fusion of cheesy synths and wanky vocals over a backdrop of rock & dnb. Definitely not a revolutionary sound, reminiscient of the Prodigy, but a synthetic formula masked by banging drums and sophisticated production. Couldn't help but cringe as I flicked through the tracks.
Probably have to reach the next dnb rave strapped after this, haha - gonna have to brave it!
Anyways, rant over and big ups for passing through.
