Super Shoulder Pads- Spring/Summer 09 they're a coming... get yours before Posh Spice other such celebrities make it well generic and before you know it your local chav/wag wannabe raid Jane Norman thus making the style redundant for everyone.
Stop your sniggering, EMBRACE IT. Yeah they were popular when everyone was glued to Dynasty but honestly whose gonna now tell me Joan Collins wasn't the shit back in the day!? fuck off all you boring arse people not willing to have a bit of fun and play about with your style yeah I know you... you who shunned the rise of the leggings, touch my leggings I'll poke your eyes out...
I'm not too sure of the mahussive wide kind of look favourite at the moment of Dolce and Nina Ricci but if you're bold enough to pull it off more power to you! Literally though more 'power' as shoulder pads at large are synonymous with power dressing women with 'drive'. So I guess if you're looking for that respect me now cos ladies you'z pimps too kind of look I suggest you dust those shoulders off. Here are some of my faves (Gianfranco, Lavin & Vuitton smacked it in my opinion)... and some of the more daring ones... mmm shoulder pads.
Fashion is form of art, an expression and an extension of ourselves... extend your shoulders, it has its benefits... obviously we all don't need to bleat to the same tune. But even if your against shoulders at large you can't deny the bang tidy lil perks they bestow on us... your waist and hips look smaller, your posture seems more upright and your spine straighter... Vive la Shoulder Pads... who knows might spark another revolution in this comeback!
