New York, New York - Day 2

Day 2 and im awake!... after a good nights sleep with a fan pointed at me all night i woke up and figured, its monday morning... everyone has shit to do... im on holiday... time to shop!


First it was up to 125th st in harlem to buy some crispy white ts, i got a snap of maceys in midtown but i really didnt wanna be the one white dude in harlem walking round with a digital camera taking pics os street signs and shop fronts... brooklyn was cool as i had an entourage but harlem by myself???.... nahhhh....


So after getting some fresh clothes and getting lost on the subway back to flatbush, i picked up my serato and headed off to the Knitting Factory to spin at the Tanya Morgan show. Big Shouts to Sucio Smash for showing me love and letting me rock at the show!


Unfortunately i had to bounce after my set and head up to Fat Beats to meet with the rest of teh crew.


Got to Fat beats after realising it was a slightly longer walk than i thought! Technique was doing his thing inside signing albums and taking flicks. To be honest, it was so hot inside i spent most of the time outside watching cyphers and hearing people talk about "the scene".... Damn!... Deal Real all over again!


By 1am we were all pretty tired and fed up, after sitting in the bagel shop for an hour we tried to motivate ourselves to get up and head the few blocks up to Apt... Sav looked fed up....


... I looked tired as hell!....


And J really looked like he needed a hug...

Once we finally reached Apt, shit got worse!... i realised that ide left my camera in the bagel shop and had to get a cab straight back to pick it up, lucky it was still there cause u wouldnt have been seeing these snaps if it wasnt!... so we returned to apt and after a short altercation with the doorman, we cut our loses and went to eat....


This is the best pizza in NYC apparently, to be honest... i cant dispute that it was the best ive tasted!... just what u need after a night of frustrating bouncers, sweaty record shops and alot of standing around!... Big shouts to the dude who got talking to us and informed me and J that god was gonna come back in the next few years and punish all the "crackers" for all our ill doing!... hey, at least he took time out to double check that we wernt spanish before he went on his rant!


So this is how the night ended, me looking like i was about to pass out on the subway in brooklyn!... oh well, Big Immortal Technique show tommorow so expect some good pics tommorow. This will be the third day in a row seeing tech and as much us hes a cool person and a great artist... i think after tommorow something non immortal technique related should be on the cards!!! untill then, Peace!
