Its beweaveable!!!
Don't you dare ever cuss a women about their need for extra hair!! That hair could actually save a life!
Personally I'm surprised that it did stop the bullet, that weave was sparrrssseeee at the back. I think it was more to do with a hell-of-alotta nappy re-growth.
ps.

Now all the fellas say 'AAAOOOWWWW'....
An anti-rape device
"FemDefence is a tampon-sized tube outfitted with a sharp pin, which is safely inserted into the vagina to protect against rape. It is also not real."
That's right... a digitally produced prototype designed to spark dialogue about violence against women... wow.

So I finally made it to New Zealand...
The flight was a killer, but I made it. I'm in a buff house and i've set up a mobile studio on a pool table. Myself and Ricky are setting ourselves up for 2 weeks of productivity, watch this space for some Motherfucking electro post punk...
I will have pictures to follow, but i left my phone at some random's house and I can't remember where he lives, so... once i remember where he lives, i'll pick it up.

Adventure and Fortune
For once, I am actually looking forward to the usually arduous task of packing for a trip. 3 months will be my longest spell away from these icy shores and I plan to spend them well. I must pack accordingly, bringing only the bare essentials. My fight leaves in seven and a half hours, and I should really crack on with the task in hand.
A particularly savage leaving weekend has left me with very little get up and go. Brighton on Friday night for my good friend Steve's night, Super Dub Pressure at Concorde 2. It featured a monstrous 40k sound system, which left me shaken inside out. After ruining a student's night with some tricky questions and, well, our mere presence, we started out on the journey home. Which took an age to complete, because the trains weren't running anything resembling a service. Rail replacement busses... we treated them with the respect they rightly deserved.
Anyway, I made it home in one piece... Physically at least. And now I must summon up some Can Do and get my pack on. I have decided on the bare essentials. They are, in no particular order of importance:
- Some clothes. Just a few to protect my modesty
- My coat. It doubles as a handy blanket for getting some sleep, and it takes up less room than a sleeping bag
- My laptop, microphone, soundcard and Serato. See what New Zealand can do to rekindle my creative buzz.
- A bucket and spade. Because I'm going to be hitting the beach
- A variety of hats and sunglasses. Because sunstroke is a Motherfucker
- A "grow your own" Venus Fly Trap. To keep the bastard flying bastards away
If you can think of anything else, let me know within the next few hours, for after that I shall be long gone.

Chris Brown Beats Rhiana - well someone had too!
Chris Brown has turned himself in to the Los Angeles Police Department for questioning in his alleged role in a felony battery that took place in a car early this morning.
Rihanna and Chris Brown have scratched their performances in tonight's Grammy Awards after being involved in a car accident, according to sources backstage.
Details are sketchy, but Rihanna's publicist issued a statement late this afternoon saying that the Grammy-winning pop singer was "well" and thanked fans for their concern and support.

DJ Cable "The Mash Down: Vol. 1"
I've been promising you a mixtape since the start of this year...so here it is!
Rather than do Weekly Mixes, I'll be doing them on a Monthly basis. Each mix will vary in genre, or will be a cross-genre mashup...Hip Hop, D&B, Electro/Fidget, Dubstep, House - There'll be something for everyone...
So, to kick start this year's set of mixes I've gone in with a dope D&B mix for you to check out. There's a nice mixture of jump up, tech-step, disco, vocal & liquid D&B here for your ears.
I've taken the name for this series - "The Mash Down" - from the rather excellent track by Noah D, which will be released digitally next month on RTDLTD. I think it kinda sums up the whole theme pretty well.

Tacklisting:
01. Dan Miracle - Digital Data VIP
02. Clipz - Push It Up (TC Remix)
03. Culture Shock - Imax

Dollar Origami
They say u gotta spend money to make money...this dude thought of a different way!
The charm of origami lies for the 38-year-old Won Park in the fact that from just a plain piece of paper through skilful wrinkles can create a work of art. When he was five years old, his mother took him to Japanese Paper shop, where he bought his first origami folding books. In high school he started developing origami models from dollar bills. Today, he is an origami specialist....

Phone Box Aquarium?!
Why did i not think of this??
Artists Benoit Deseille and Benedetto Bufalino as part of the Lyon Light Festival in France, transformed an ordinary phone booth into an aquarium!
The artists stated...
“With the advent of the mobile telephone, telephone booths lie unused. We rediscover this glass cage transformed into an aquarium, full of exotically coloured fish; an invitation to escape and travel.“
Which reminds me i never did do that shoot where i was planning to seal a shower, fill it with water...and find a brave model to basically drown herself in the name of photography...might just have to give it a miss for now!!
