RIP DJ AM!

This guy was one of my favorite dj's, he had skills and could rock a crowd, many dj's find it hard to bridge the gap but he did it! Famous for the celeb parties but for me it was his mash up's that did it!  Salute DJ AM!

Over the next few days I will post some of his mixes and vids!
PEACE

Obama Bows Out...

Photobucket

Oh... DEAR!
Foreign relation faux pas!... Bowing? Really?
Frankly everyone was ecstatic to get Bush out of office. (I know I was) near enough the entire world sighed in unison. Finally, someone new that we can watch and read about without cringing or finding ourselves wishing they wouldn't say or do anything to embarrass America & Britain-(as we generally always side with them) by making us lose credibility in the eyes of our allies and enemies alike.

America has always been accepting of other cultures they are never crass or ignorant when it comes to international affairs *cough*. Obama is said to have bowed to King Saud of Saudi Arabia but neglected to do so when in London upon meeting the Queen. In Muslim culture there are only two types of bowing and both are in relation to prayer, it is not custom to bow to any other people, only to God... The cringe worthy list goes on apparently Obama during his stay in London when visiting Gordon Brown, as part of the traditional gift giving process gave him a DVD collection... that failed to play on European DVD machines. He also gave a Winston Churchill bust which was given to George Bush post 9/11 by Blair.

It also appears Obama's administration trod on the toes of yet another tradition by cancelling a press conference with Gordon Brown due to the president being fatigued. When it finally took place Obama skipped the pleasantries and went on ahead with the question and answer segment-(perhaps he thought that was pressing) hmm I can't really sugar coat this. It seems that the President needs to learn the finer points of etiquette whether he may be under pressure or not...
